Our Mission

FIELDS of Green County is dedicated to providing emergency shelter, support services, and a pathway to stable housing for individuals experiencing homelessness in Green County, Wisconsin. We believe that everyone deserves a safe place to stay, access to basic necessities, and the dignity of support as they work toward long-term housing stability.

Shelter Advisory Committee

The Shelter Advisory Committee is an ad hoc committee of the Green County Human Services Board. This committee is made up of dedicated community members who are appointed by the Human Services Board to provide guidance, oversight, and support for the FIELDS emergency shelter program.

Committee members play a vital role in shaping policies, reviewing program operations, and ensuring that FIELDS serves the community effectively while maintaining the highest standards of care and dignity for shelter participants.

Who We Serve

FIELDS of Green County serves adults (18 and older) experiencing homelessness in Green County, Wisconsin. We provide emergency shelter, case management, and connections to resources for individuals who are:

• Living on the streets or in places not meant for human habitation
• Staying in emergency shelters
• At imminent risk of losing their housing
• Fleeing domestic violence or unsafe situations
• Transitioning from institutions with nowhere to go

FIELDS of Green County is a program of the County of Green, operated by Green County Human Services. This partnership ensures that our shelter services are integrated with comprehensive social services, healthcare connections, and housing assistance programs available throughout the county.

Our collaboration with community organizations, local businesses, faith communities, and volunteers allows us to provide holistic support that addresses the complex needs of individuals experiencing homelessness.
